It's against the law for anybody closer than something like 1,000 feet from a polling place to tell you how to vote. The polling people there broke that law. There is nothing wrong with it. Not everyone wants to be bribed with their own money, pay high taxes or wrapped in a security blanket.

The same thing that is wrong with being female and a republican or working class and a republican. The Republican platform is against civil rights. They are against affirmative action and equal pay. They are against birth control and choice. They are against a living wage. They are against health care for all Americans. They are against the safety net for widows, children and older Americans called Social Security.
The Republican Party is the corporate party. They pass laws to benefits their rich corporate masters not their constituency. It always has been this way. Lincoln, the first Republican pres did not go to war to free the slaves. He freed the slaves in the South with the Emancipation Proclamation because he wanted them to rise against their masters and help him win the war. This did not free the slaves in the North. They didn't get freed until after the war. Lincoln was a corporate attorney for the Illinois Central Railroad, most of his actions were to help his cronies there. It is all republican propaganda that he was some great person. He was a greedy social climber which is why he married a wealthy, woman of much higher class even though she was mentally unstable. Look up Lincoln's opinions on blacks. It is not pretty. Also look up dixiecrats and Nixon's Southern Strategy. This will tell you about Republicans. Then decide for yourself.

It's just wrong.
To my way of thinking, our current crop of republicans are fiscally liberal (when it comes to borrowing 2 billion dollars a week from China to wage a war we should never have started) and socially conservative, as in opposing abortion, scientific research and any program to reform our catastrophic healthcare system.

If half the Republican party was made up of Blacks, the working poor, Academics, welfare recipients, single parents, people from minority religions, etc... I'd be very happy.
I might even join, myself. :)

Absolutely nothing is wrong with it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is racist and their views cannot be viewed as the view for the whole GOP.

The same thing that is wrong with being stupid. Stupid people in and of themselves are probably kinder, sweeter and more moral than intelligent people. But nobody wants to be the village idiot. Republicans exploit people, and a most Blacks are exploited by Republicans.
Most Black Republicans would own slaves if it would make them money. Right and wrong for the Republican party is defined by $$$, it's a sick form of idolatry right out of the bible.
If that is what you want, hey, there are worse things in the world than preoccupation with money.

I would say that there is nothing wrong with being black and conservative, however I would argue that the Republican party is not conservative. So I would argue that there is a problem with being black and republican because the republican party is full of a bunch of neo-cons that are dead set on world domination and could give a rat's behind about personal liberty, limited government, and laisser faire economic policy.
