Call your local McDonald's...they should know. In the meantime, you can make your own:
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon mint extract
8 drops green food coloring

It seems that not every location gets the Shamrock Shakes (or at least, in recent years that is the case). However, those that do get them, generally have them arrive the first week of March and last until they run out of supplies. Any of the locations where I live tends to run out well before St. Patricks Day, which is when they are meant to last to.
