My cousin's Valentine Bear ripped in it's butt and my cousin won't stop crying. I need quick sewing advice because she won't quit crying! Any tips?

find thread the same color as the bear, or else clear.(lots of time used in the quilting in a bedcover, if you need an emergency supply) thread a needle, and fold over the two sides of the tear.
put the needle into the fold on one side, then on the fold on the other. that makes an almost invisible seam.
after that, put a band-aid on the boo-boo, or better still, get your -cousin to put the band -aid on.
alternatively, cut a piece of scrap fabric in the shape of a heart, and put a patch on the hole, after pulling it closed. she might like that as well, especially if she picks the fabric for the patch.

okay, find a needle. Sewing isn't as hard as you think, so don't worry. But anyway, get a sewing needle and find some thread; look in a sewing kit or something.

Now put the thread through the little hole in the needle, and make the strings even on each side. Then tie a knot in the string, so that you have a loop and the needle won't fall off or anything.

Now, take the needle and put it on either side of the tear, and push through and pull to the OTHER side of the tear. Keep doing that back and forth and eventually the hole will be fixed!

Try to use the same color thread as the bear, if you can. =]
