Probably so. They tend to pick the answerer that agrees with them emotionally rather than pick someone that presents a rational reply.

What the heck is a Liberal? Do you know what you are asking?
A liberal is undefined and not a description of a party at all! There are Liberal Dems and Liberal Reps, for sure and I have worked with them and know them! Liberal means they don't want brute force used! Like shoot when you see the whites of their eyes, or shoot first and ask questions later! those are morons! Too strict is like a stiff twig it is frail and breaks! It is better to be a willow and bend in politics as long as you compromise and dont break the laws, or alter them like the Patriot Act! How ridiculous? Who wrote that nonsense! They sure weren't a good judge, or a journalist like Ben Franklin or Jefferson eh? We are trying to keep the peace in our country and hand and hand we can change things as one, united not divided, and that is the only way! Or you are going to have a dictator for we don't play well with others get it! Those Shadow Government guys the rigid Control Freaks will seize the opportunity to do a take over and we will be meeces torn to pieces with Martial Law! Common Sense is to be reasonable and not Fascist Morons! get it! WE the People don't want bloodshed if we can help it okay with you?

If you look at the various leader boards there are both conservatives and liberals on it. I think both give good answers. While I do not agree with the right wing philosophy and find it to be down right greedy, I can recognize a good answer when I see it.

I don't know, & I don't really care. As far as I am concerned, the points are meaningless. The exchange of ideas is what counts. The rants & the name calling are price we pay to try & learn something.

Every time I see my liberal husband answering in this category he is clobbered with thumbs down votes. That would lead me to believe other liberals also feel like an ice cube in hell. Speaking of, I'm getting a bit skittish here myself. =)
-well wishes

People who oppose the current regime do. That doesn't make them
"liberals". That's just a word co-opted and made dirty by the neocons.

Yeah, because just like the liberals in any autoritative office, they tell people what they want to hear, even if it is a lie :)
Vote Republican in 2008 :)

Ironic that is, because in yahoo the majority of people seem to be conservative- but not in real life.
