I put my laptop up for auction on ebay and someone threw my auction off (they bid $3,000 for it so nobody else wanted to bid on it and then they cancelled their ebay registration, so anyways ebay's giving me a hard time about it and I don't want to pay them to relist it.) I did a search and came up with cashforlaptops.com where you tell them a little about the laptop and they give you a bid but you have to send your computer in then they send a check, I don't know anyone who has dealt with anything like that and I'd be afraid I'd never get paid after sending my copmuter to them. I'm wondering if anyone has done anything like this and knows of a legitimate site that won't rip you off. If anyone has any ideas for me I'd appreciate it.

Go old school first..... visit local coffee shops and leave an add on their bulletin board. If the price is low enough try the local thriftyNickel or other type of news print. I like the ones that are free. then there's Craig's list(if their in your area). Don't think that eBay is the only show in town. Cause it's not, and it's a rip.... however I do still purchase from them from time to time. Oh and if your dumping it try the local laundry matt. Hope this helps

Take a picture of it, and write all that it is and then put it on a blog, like in 360, or myspace, or where every, and be sure you can show a picture of it, and s discrieption of it, so people know what they are looking at and may buy. And please be truthful about it.
