$5-$12 BUT that is not the actual cost the cost is the proper set-up for the crabs. You must get more than one and the proper habitat (tank home) That will begin at $125 and go up as far as $300.00
They also require very specific tank condtions and daily, weekly and monthy care.

regualr hermit crabs cost 4.99
painted hermit crabs cost 6.99
med regular shells cost 1.49
painted shells any size are 4.99
large regualr shells are 2.49
these prices are for the northeast United States. they may be different in other parts becuase there may be a different supplier.

PetSmart charges about $5.99. In some cases, the fancier the shell, the more they cost. I think natural looking shells are much prettier.

i didnt even know they sold hermit crabs at petsmart. i got mine at the mall. they lasted quite a long time!!!

that depends on size they can go as low as $2.99 and as far up as $12.99 for the bright red stawberry hermit crabs. (which are very pretty)

im pretty sure it s around 5, or u can go to certain malls and get the ones that are all colorful for like 10
