Im From Chicago, And Visiting friends in Boston..I Also Lived in Greenbay For Awhile, But Boston Gets Much Colder..!!!
Is It Because Boston Is Off The Atlantic Ocean??
Because The Wind Can Kill You Alone??
Not Too Mention The Freezing Ice Snow That They Get Here???

Yes. Although I'm guessing Green Bay and Chicago can rank right up there with the wind chills. It's been -20 here today. That's pretty cold.

Actually, Chicago gets colder than Boston, and Green Bay gets colder than Chicago. The closer you are to the interior of the continent the colder, and the closer you are to the north pole the colder. Boston and Chicago are at about the same latitude, but Chicago is farther from the Atlantic Ocean. Green Bay is north of Chicago but at a similar longitude.

it could probably be the weird gulf winds. i'm not sure if it's because of the ocean since chicago is next to lake michigan. also, i live in wisconsin now too and it's below 0 temps; and this is the first time in the 21 years i've been on this earth in the midwest that i've experienced this! so another reason, could just be the weird global warming. have you seen "day after tomorrow"??

Boston is on average warmer than Chicago.

Anything closer to the ocean will be more temperate than a location further away.
