Is Meredith Grey dead?

Hmm, hard to say, no one knows for sure. It would appear that she is dead, she did flat line, but this show is all about the unexpected. So i'm gonna guess, that we'll all think she's dead till that last possible moment when she miracously recovers, or pherhaps stays in acoma, then years later wakes up. So basically there is no answer, except you'll just have to wait like the rest of us, cross your fingers and pray they didn't kill off a main character. But then again it is sweeps, so who knows what will happen. oh and i just found out the name of next week's show is "some kind of miracle". got abc etc. so theres a hint right there, but the 'some kind ' hints that maybe this miracle is bitter sweet, maybe she does come back but remains in acoma, or isn't able to be a surgeon anymore.

My sister says not, since the name of the show is Grey's anatomy, as in Meredith Grey. I am not so sure, since they can always go to saint Meredith with a voice over. On another note, how great was Issie's speech?!!

No she can't be! The show is Called Greys Anatomy, and she's Meredith Grey! she can't be dead. that is soooo sad! I can't belive it! We have to wait a week1 this sucks!

Why would they kill of Grey from Greys Anatomy? Makes no sense. She got knocked out, the little girl that related to last night (lost, confused, unresponsive to human contact) will get Derek and he will save her AGAIN from drowning. Alex is not hotter than Derek but much hotter than McSteamy.

I bet Addison saves her, you know, as some sort of token of her acceptance of Meredith. I hope so, I can't stand the suspense!!!!

I hope not!
I think she's in the intermittent bit right before heaven, but I think that she'll be ressucitated (sp?) next episode.
Seriously though, if she does live, I'm thinking there'll be some MAJOR brain damage. She was in there for a while.

Hopefully not. They could very well kill her off though. The show is probably named after the medical book "Grey's Anatomy"

It looks like it...but who knows how it will all turn out next week...it looks like they are still going to be trying to work on her next week so maybe she will come through this...I really hope she doesn't stay dead!!!!

I really hope not, and i dont think so, even if she does pull through but she will probally never be her self again. i totally love this show, what a great show.
