I spent every day in a home with 2 chain smokers while I was a child. I was inhaling the smoke that they exhaled, AND the UNFILTERED smoke that came right off the ciggarette. The air was thick with it. It was sickening. I have NEVER smoked in my life, not even a drag. I inhaled tons of smoke. They say that you can get hooked by just one ciggarette. So why dont people get addicted to second hand smoke? Does this prove that smoking is a highly mental addiction?

I am no doctor, but If a cough doesn't go away after a couple of weeks, I would set up an appointment and have it checked out.

personally I think that smoking is an oral fixation, it's a mental thing, most smokers I know don't even like 2nd hand smoke, it's crazy

Really, second-hand smoke is gross. Sorry you had to live with that, and to answer tha actual question, I have no idea.

people are addicted to cigarettes because they need to keep moving with there hands like putting the cigarette in the mouth and out.
