Ok, first things first I bath every day! During P.E. when we do the butterfly stretch, or any stretch where we spead our legs I spell this stench coming from down there. Then sometimes when I am just sittin in a class if my legs are spreaded out just a little i smell it again, just not as strong. I don't understand it. What is it, why is it there, and how can I get rid of it??

HI. Sorry this is going on I know it can be very embarrasing. I went through the same thing when i was in highschool. It's just your hormones are going crazy and that it's messing up your P.H balance. Theres a few things out there that can help with it, but for me the best thing i found was the feminine wipes, you can buy them in any female section and there very cheap. Every time you go to the restroom just use this insted of bathroom tissues and you'll find it helps alot.
Hope this works for you!

Some people just have strong odors even though they're completely healthy and have good hygiene. These odors are caused by the natural bacteria that live in your vagina, if there is no irritation or unusual discharge than it is not necessarily an infection.

DON'T EVER DOUCHE, douching has been proven time and time again to cause problems and help nothing.

You might want to try a product called Rephresh Vaginal Gel, however. It should be available at Walgreens. It's a gel that you put in your vagina once every few days, it acidifies it and causes the environment to be much more difficult for bacteria that commonly cause odors to live in. I can't tell you personally if it works since I've never had that problem myself, but I've heard lots of amazing recommendations for it saying that it works wonders for controlling odours, and it's even been approved in the UK as a medical device to cure bacterial vaginosis, so for about $14 a box it's worth trying.

Yogurt or acidophilus capsules might quite possibly help as well, though they'd be messier than Rephresh. You'd have to get something to put it in there with though, eating it wouldn't do anything.

Are you sexually active? If so, you need to be checked for STD's by a physician.

If you aren't sexually active or never have been, you could have a yeast infection which needs to be treated by a doctor also. The other symptoms of a yeast infection is white, clumpy discharge that makes you itch.

If it can't be either of those, if you use pads for your period, sometimes those will give off a smell. Make sure you change them frequently or switch to tampons.

Other than that, you shouldn't have any bad smell if you are clean and have clean clothes on.

If it continues to bother you, see a doctor.

I think there's a point in every woman's life when we notice a smell down there. Summer's Eve has wipes with Neutress. I don't use them too often, but when I do, I find they take care of anything. They sell these products for a reason you're NOT alone. Although, asking your Dr. about it is a great idea.

well it's an aroma that almost no one can smell but you, luckily. and its actually just vaginal sweat, it happens. try wearing cotton panties and more loose cloths, keep your area airated, dry and clean and it will reduce the problem. also if you use a panty liner when you notice the issue there are deoderants in those pads that will help with whatever you think other people can smell. good luck and dont worry every woman had been there

FDS feminine spray or personal cleaning cloths, honey.

Are you sexually active? If you are, then you may want to consider douching (actually, it can be done if you're sexually active or not).

Red flag for me is that you may have a yeast infection, which could cause the smell if you're bathing as you say daily. Coming from "inside" if you will, rather than your outer skin.

This is going to sound really wierd, but try soaking a tampon in buttermilk, and keeping that in for 10-15 minutes, or, push a little bit of plain(has to be plain, flavored kinds have sugar in them which bacteria love) flavored yogurt in with your fingers before taking a shower. Both contain acidophilus which fights off bad odor causing bacteria. I know it sounds weird but they really are good home remedies and worth trying before seeing a doctor.

Also, make sure you're eating plenty of yogurt, and sleep without undies on.

You need to learn better hygine becuase this odor is most likely coming from an infection casued by bacteria. ( yeast infection or bactieral infection )
But it could also be a sign of an STD
You need to see a doctor and have some tests done.

i know this may sound a bit crazy, but are you sure there isn't a tampon "up there" ?? this happened to me once - couldn't figure out what that "odor" was. i called my dr. and he asked me if there could be a tampon in me that i never took out. i thought he was crazy !!! but guess what ??? that's what it was. if that's not the source of your problem , you probably have some kind of infection, which is easily cured by going to your gynecologist . good luck
