The skeletal system works with all the body's systems. Growth, repair, protection, movement, etc. Bones need nourishment, connection with the environment, movement, the need to rid itself of cellular waste, repair of broken bones, they store calcium and phosphorus which are needed by the blood and cells in general, they produce blood and help in the immune system. They are attachment points for skeletal muscles, which move and protect the body.

The muscular system - muscles move bones. The nervous system - nerves activate muscles. The vascular system - blood cells are made in the bone marrow.
