Please read the guide lines for Yahoo Answers. You will get points for someone voting yours a best answer or thumbs up. Points may have been taken away that were replaced. Several reasons of them all I cannot be sure. You did not say when you were getting the points.

You mean your getting random points for no reason?!?!?!?! They just got rid of someone for cheating for points and then they (Yahoo! Answers) gives you points for no reason. That is really stupid!!!!!!!

if you ask questions, but dont choose a best answer, it will be voted on. you get 3 points for "choosing a best answer" even though you didnt choose it yourself. also, when someone gives one of your best answers a thumbs up.
