Oh my Gosh....that was a sad episode!!! Who thinks she's dead?

I hope not!!! Her and McDreamy are totally made for each other. The episode tonight was awesome - I'd say the best so far this season! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Meredith isn't dead - especially for Derek's sake.

Meredith will be a ghost doing narration for the rest of the series. That's my opinion.

I think it's possible she will survive. I did a bit of research and found some studies on near-drowning and hypothermia. "SUMMARY: Several case studies have convincingly demonstrated that drowning victims may survive neurologically intact even after prolonged submersion times, in particular in cold water. Therefore, aggressive initial therapeutic efforts are indicated in most near-drowning victims."

Yes she is dead but she will be back.
Her mother will die and tell her to go back and she ill do so but be sad that her mother is gone.
This will of course free her to do as she pleases even if that means leaving.

I think that her knight and shinning whatever will save her. She is THE main character she can't just die.
