the only way I can think of them having to do with evolution is that we have evolved to being so smart that we have found what our bodies need and the problems that arise when certain vitamin deficiencies happen. Like the people who were dying of coronary heart failure in there 40s were found to have had a copper deficiency. They might have been taking a supplement that had zinc. We have found that Zinc and copper fight for absorption in the small intestines. Animals never could have found this out. We did because we evolved and were able to study and learn this stuff. That's all I can think of.

well i don't know about multivitamins being important to evolution, but I know they are good for your health.. especially when you don't always eat healthy.
