As far as I know the only way to get free shuttles to and from the airport is to stay at a Disney hotel. They offer Magical Express, which is their free shuttle. But, they don't offer shuttles to Universal, only the Disney hotels.

The majority of the hotels in Orlando that offer a shuttle service, will also usually offer shuttles to the other parks, like Sea World and Universal that are in Orlando.

I don't know of any, I would suggest renting a cab from the airport to the hotel. Also, I HIGHLY reccommend staying at a Universal owned hotel. If you stay in the network, you are in walking distance (and I mean SHORT walking distance) of the two parks, and all the shops and restaurants on the strip. Plus, your room key acts as a fastpass to let you bypass the lines automatically at virtually all the attractions. The hotels are expensive, but it is more than worth it. I stayed at the Royal Pacific, the cheapest one, and the rooms were at least 3 star; everything was so nice. Go to their website, universalorlando.com, and I'm sure you will be as excited as I am. Have fun!!

Have you checked out the new Floridays resort? It is real close to Universal and SeaWorld, and they offer shuttle to the parks. I don't know if you have kids or not, but the Nick hotel is great for kids, and they offer free shuttle to all four Disney parks, all Universal parks, plus SeaWorld. The Nick hotel is located in Lake Buena Vista, which is a short drive to Universal.

Hello, check out some fine hotels in Orlando at http://www.booking.com/searchresults.html?aid=310070;sid=f3e2f83e62e7b4934d9a3226f8f95a77;checkin_monthday=16;checkin_year_month=2007-3;checkout_monthday=17;checkout_year_month=2007-3;class_interval=1;region=2298;si=ai%2Cco%2Cci%2Cre;order=score
Have in mind the guests' reviews and rating. Those comments are very helpful to decide (except the prices of course). Booking.com is my first choice in hotel reservations. I hope it'll help you.
