i was wondering if i take tylenol pm to help me sleep at night, will i wake up when my 3 month old baby girl is crying...i still wanna be there for her..she sleeps right beside me...

No don't take it, just in case you don't wake up or roll over on the little one. Don't take the chance.

That stuff knocks me on my butt. I'm sure you'd wake up with your baby next to you, but you'll be really, really groggy. I wouldn't take it. I'd be afraid to pick her up or anything. I don't know what they put in there, but I have a tylenol pm hangover the next day, too.

It is too hard to say. It can affect everyone differently. I used to take it when I had bad headaches, but it never put me to sleep. Other people cannot take any kind of sleepers.......You would have to try it on a night that someone else is there as a back up, until you know how your body will react to the med.

i wouldnt even if you did hear her and wake up youd still be groggy and who knows what emergency might come up that seconds count. try taking a warm bath sotting music or quiet time before bed to help you relax sleep is important expecally for a new moter if you take it( i wouldnt) make sure theres another adult in the house to take care of her in case your unable. take a nap when she does. it might make up for loss of sleep

If I take one of those it knocks me on my butt for 2 days. If it were me I wouldn't take it.
