Not sure I understand this problem:

Is it 3 ^ (x+1) = 8 ^ (2x+3):

Ok I will solve this particular case

log 3 ^ (x+1) = log 8 ^ (2x+3)

(x+1) log 3 = (2x+3) log 8

x*log 3 + log 3 = 2x*log8 + 3*log8

Now group the x's

x*log 3 - 2x*log 8 = 3*log 8 - log 3

factor the x

x (log 3 - 2*log8) = 3*log8 - log 3

x = (3*log8 - log 3) / (log 3 - 2*log8)

or is it (3^x) + 1 = (8^2x) + 3

I haven't done this particular case.

Please edit you question. Message me with more questions. Good Luck.
