The injustice that permits illegals to use medical facilities and public funding to stay within our country. Taking away from hard working Americans to send money to countries like Russia is another type of injustice. Instead of kissing Chinese butt we should start funding the rebuilding of American industry. At the very least we should insist the politicians put pressure on third world countries to meet our pollution standards. Those are several injustices that are so often under reported.

OK. The other day I was watching Univision the Spanish TV in the United States. There was a man from Guatemala, he is a Mayan Indian and still have some difficulties when he speaks Spanish. He came to the U.S., and after eleven years working in a restaurant washing the dishes, he save all his money of eleven years. Then one day, last year to be precise, he decided to go back to his country. He is a illiterate man. He could save fifty seven thousand dollars, he never took the money to a bank. When he bought the ticket to travel to his homeland, U.S. immigration ask him what was in his luggage and he just said the truth: MONEY. They ask him for the amount of money and he couldn't even say the amount. They counted the money that was in cash in his luggage, he didn't knew that was illegal to travel with that huge amount of money out of the country and even here in the U.S. He was arrested and later released. The U.S. government took his money accusing him of money laundering and just gave him back $11.000 yes eleven thousand dollars and the rest was his penalty. The government kept his money and he's still here in Florida waiting because a lawyer saw the news and appeal the verdict. His family is so poor, they are Mayans Indians, and he was waiting all those years to bring money to his country and help his family to build a house for his mother and sisters. They live in shack, they just eat tortillas and beans. I call that a big injustice in America. There you have a topic for your speech and I hope that you can help to open the eyes to the young people of America to see the sad part and understand the big WHY the illegals come to your country. Good luck.

How about exploring Amnesty International's claim that US violate Human rights by not enforcing their laws about Equality in America. Argue both sides since you don't want to be the most hated person in school. THey claim we have great laws to protect minorities but they are never used or judges ignore them. If you don't like that idea go to Amnesty International or ACLU. THey both have a lot on injustice in AMerica. Heck you might contact them since they like to educate students on certain subjects.

Right now the U.S. House of Representatives is debating a nonbinding resolution that will send mixed signals to our troops in Iraq. On one hand it says they support the troops, but on the other hand it says they don't believe in their mission. That is complete injustice to anyone wearing a U.S. uniform in Iraq. It is complete injustice to the newly appointed Commanding General in Iraq, who I might add was approved by the same House of Representatives. They say the guy can do the job, but they don't think he can win.

You could talk about how at your local Social Security office Hispanics are turned away and not even allowed to file for benefits just because they're Hispanic or non-english speaking. I worked for the Social Security Administration during the Clinton regime (office 857) and this happened everyday, with the knowledge, consent and encouragement of management.

Sure bodega owners who are robbed constantly and can't get pistol permits, while celebrities who can afford to hire a bunch of security guards get them without trying.
