Dolen Drambor - The White House is trying to fix the problem now. You must know by now that the new majority are the ones trying to leave the Iraqis to face an even bigger world of pain than Bush and company has brought to them.

I don't believe that the democrats are going to leave anybody hanging over there. I just think they are saying it is a mess, lets fix it. If the Iraqi government cannot set goals and achieve them in a timely fashion then we must pull out and let them settle it for themselves. Come on for crying out loud, how long would you keep our people there, forever? It will be 4 years this spring and instead of getting better the violence is getting worse.

I am sure much capital (in many ways) will be exhanged as a result of this 'war'. I will say that it is safe to assume that the US will absorb many Iraqi refugees and provide for them on many socialist levels.

Not likely, why? After th Republicans finish there most likely will not be any left to assist.
