Many of my girl friends tell me how they have to deal with guys either trying to pick up on them or try to touch them inappropriately on almost a daily basis. You too?
To me, that's horrible that women have to deal with that so often, while as a guy, very seldom have I or any of my boys had to deal with such a situation.
Isn't that sad about today's society? Does anyone have manners anymore? What happened to shivlery -much less simply having respect for for a lady?

Yes, it's true, women do occasionally have to deal with pervs when they're out, myself included. In fact, I find that as I'm getting older I'm having to deal with more and more pervs. Whether it's in a pizza store or on my way to a college class, or sometimes even IN my college class, there always seems to be a perv or two around. But that's why I told my friend that I'm considering taking karate lessons again. As I told him, knowing how to use my fists well could always come in handy, no matter which perv I'm dealing with.

It was an outdated concept even at its time, and not actually used by very many. It's more along the lines of romantic fantasy material.
yes, I've had to put up with pervs, busy bodies, etc when out. They're actually pretty easy to deal with, because deep down, they're cowards.

Even with my wedding rings and two kids in tow (they're always with me), I get hit on a lot. It sucks because a lot of the comments are not really appropriate for two young girls to hear. I dress very modestly, too- very soccer mom. I just happen to have a large chest, so I get it a lot. Some people just have no decency.

I don't have to deal with the touching but perverted guys do like to stare a lot or try to hit on me. It's annoying but I don't care.
