What people refer to as the main stream media, tv channels abc cbs nbc are run by left wing thinking elitists that believe in liberism they don't report the news but give their oppinions as the news. That's why you will never hear of some of the great things happening in Iraq that you would if you wrote to a few soldiers and got the real news. Tougher on conservatives is an understatement they hate Bush more than they do any terrorist and will embolden the enemy in their news casts and papers with lies and slanderous remarks about our president. After all even if they leak intellegence from the New York Times or report false documents about bush's military career as Dan Rather of NBC did it's ok anything that hurts Bush is good.

The Conservative politicians have made "Liberal" a bad word.

The Conservative politicians call anyone who does not subscribe to their way of thinking as "Liberals."

Former Senator Joseph McCarthy did the same thing in the fifties, except calling those who opposed him "Communists."

See the parallel?

McCarthy lost credibility when he inferred that President Eisenhower was a communist...He was shot down in the "Red" media thereafter.

The Conservatives lost credibility when they called Wesley Clark and John McCain "Cowards." And, when the moral right Haggart, Foley, Cunningham and Limbaugh were found to have not only feet of clay, but the whole lower extremity and torso made of clay. Perfect fodder for a "Liberal" media that has been forced to write conservative dogma since 9-11, or be deemed a traitorous publication.

It's not so much a higher standard by the press as it is that these guys run on their values. Democrats run on real ideas, not 'I'm a good moral person who wants to bring GOD back into government'

if you run on that, which many do, you are setting yourself up if you break that.

There is a larger audience of fat poor people on welfare that watch CNN insead of hard working Americans that watch Fox.
