What "drives" you crazy on the road?

I love to drive, but there are a few things that other driver's can do that really frustrates me because it doesn't make any sense why they do what they do.

1) Super slowly making a turn on a green light. That happened to me today and is why I am asking this question. There's nobody in front of them, nor is there anyone walking across the street. Don't they realize that there are cars behind them trying to make the light?

2) Tailgating. Is it really that important to get so close that you can read the other driver's expiration tag? Even if they are going too slow, tailgating won't make them go any faster. It just will make them go even slower if you pressure them enough. Some will even slam on their brakes -and guess who's at fault?

To me, the rule of thumb of being a good driver (besides obeying the laws of the road) is to make sure you do not mess up the momentum of other drivers. I hate when that happens to me. How about you?

things i hate... hmm...
1. being behind a person who is swerving/driving 5-30 miles under the speed limit/driving poorly in general, just to pass that person and find out it was a girl on her damn cell phone
2. when the light turns red before i have a chance to get through it.
3. when im waiting behind one or more drivers in a turning lane, waiting for a break in oncoming traffic to get onto the road, and there is plenty of time and space to advance onto the road, BUT THEY DONT GO!!!
4. when im driving on a 2 lane road, and the person in front of me is in the fast lane, driving 10 miles under the speed limit and dont move over when i flash my brights at them.
5. its even worse if they slow down after that
6. driving on roads that are 25 miles per hour. (i love on a military post and some MAJOR roads are 15 miles an hour! it drives me crazy)


oh! and i cant forget... seeing a 'mr. change your pants while driving'

i know theres more, but i just dont feel like putting them down

Definitely agree with these, they also drive me crazy along with the turn signals.
Here are a couple of other ones:
Shoot across three lanes of traffic because they want to go left (or right) from the opposite side of the road.
Crowded road conditions and missed getting in the line for the exit so will stop dead and sit in the middle of the traffic flow to try and cut in from another lane.
Highways where cars jump in & out cutting trucks off and other motorists.

I love to drive - doesn't bother me either.

The cops...They pull me over for doing 5 over, but they do > 120 mph and run people off the road for no reason, other than to get to the station for shift change or a donut exchange.

Oh. And of course there are the slow drivers, and the people on the cell phones, and drunk drivers,

I hate tailgaters the most the closer you get to me the slower i go and people who pass you and then slow down once they are in front of you or even worse they turn off that burns me up

Red light runners-- they kill people....

Aggressive drivers- abrupt lane changes, tailgating, road ragers...

People who talk on their cell phones instead of paying attention to the road- they pull out in front of you, won't stop at stop signs...

People who refuse to look before they back out of a parking space- they just throw it in reverse & go! I was walking in a parking lot once & almost got hit because someone did that! I had to knock on the trunk to get them to stop

People who have an inexplicable need to be in the left lane, yet do not pass anyone and have 6 cars lengths between them and the person ahead of them

People on phones
people with kids on their knee in the front seat
people who don't use indicators
people who don't know what to do at roundabouts
people who just pull out without looking ( usually buses or taxis)
people who stop without warning (usually taxis)
ill mannered kids in the back of the car in front

People who have a drivers licenses but apprently was in a comma the day they took the test because they can't remember ANYTHING about HOW to drive correctly

when people pass you only to being turning right after they pass
way below the speed limit drivers
when people stop at a red light and can turn right but dont

I also hate left turns. Those things drive me nuts. Very good list though. I share many of those annoyances.
