I painted a terra cotta small plant pot and painted the inside (all but the very bottom). I used acrylic paint. I'm figuring I can't use it for holding a tealight candle anymore, and I read I can't use it to put a plant in because of it being acrylic paint. Anyone have any ideas of what I can use this dumb pot for now? I'm stumped.

I don't see any reason you can't use it for a tealight candle anymore. Many of them are in aluminum cups, but even if not, the candle will not be melting all the way down onto anything but the terracotta.
As for acrylic paint on the sides, it's perfectly safe unless the candle flame is *very close* to it... acrylic paint can be heated in the oven up to at least 275 degrees that I know of, and perhaps more. You'd want to be sure that the candle was set up so it didn't fall onto the side of the pot and stay there though... it that case the acrylic might burn.
I would also assume that the only problem from putting a plant in it would be from the paint peeling... it's not toxic to plants or anything. The terracotta on the sides wouldn't be porous anymore, but it isn't in a regular ceramic or plastic pot either. (Just make sure the hole is free, of course)

I have lots of plants growing in acrylic painted pots. You should not have any problems. The concern would be if the acrylics lifted from the moisture and that can vary due to the thickness of the paint.
As far as candles, you should always put your candle in a small votive cup then inside the decorated item, such as your pot. There are also tealights that come in their own container.
Of course you can use it to hold pens, sewing items, crochet hooks, brushes, cosmetics, and a number of things.

you won't be in a position to place them in the oven, however the way your question reads, you at the instant are not making plans to place them in the oven to glaze yet incredibly are protecting them of their organic state? if that's so, you could spray the acrylic paint with a clean sealant or ending spray. I even have painted timber with acrylic and sprayed with this spray, placed the article outdoors and it has lasted an prolonged time. solid success with you business enterprise.

use it to hold pen, pencils and scissors,
use it to hold spoons, spatulas, lattels, etc, in your kitchen
use a plastic liner that fits the pot and you can still use it for a plant
use it to hold hair ties, scrunchies, etc
use it to hold dried, scented flowers
use it to hold wrapped sweet treats or bubblegum

You could use it to keep your brushes and combs off the counters. I have one in the bathroom for my combs and brushes and another small one for our toothpastes.
