I went to a psychic and she recommended that I read two books to start learning astrology: Parker's Astrology and A-Z Horoscope Maker. My question is, should I also get software to run the charts? And, if so, which one?

books are a lot better, but at barnes n nobles they had that kit where u can make ur own chart w/a couple of books, and they were amazingly accurate :o)

Nah don't get software. Books are a lot more resourseful.
