Bias. North calls it the civil war, and the south calls it "The War of Northern Oppression."

That's all I can think of man, unless you be more specific.

Accurate information can be called fact.

History as seen through different peoples eyes can be called opinions.

The Iraq war for instance, in G. W. Bush's eyes it was the right thing. And this is his opinion. Only in 100 years could this possibly be considered fact and even then it depends if your an Iraqi saying yes or no...or and american saying yes or no.

Its all relative to the question.

I take A.P. U.S. historic previous, and that i wrote a paper focusing on the blunders Hitler made for the period of WWII that presented about his failure. this is an exceedingly interesting topic to study and there is a ton of concepts on it. also, this is different than maximum papers you'll analyze Hitler.

fact: the artifacts surviving from that time, documents such as ledgers

opinion: diaries or journals(first-hand accounts), personal beliefs (ex: Benedict Arnold: traitor or troubled patriot)
