Use the Dodge City Library, they keep news articles all the way back to the 20's on microfilm.

They have a website and archive but don't say how far back their online archive goes. A lot of papers only go back to the 90s if that far. You can register online to check. The site is: http://www.dodgeglobe.com/

Alternately, contact the Dodge City public library to see if they have back issues of the newspaper on microfilm or in hard copy. Their site is http://www.dcpl.info/
