heat packs and warm baths with help releave the pain. use a midol or tylonel to reduce the inflimation these are the only ways short of waiting it out that will help. good luck... also no matter how bad it hurts you MUST WALK that will help you bodys muscles move more easily !

If your period isn't due for almost a week, it's still much too early to be having any sort of pregnancy symptoms. So your 'symtpoms' are more likely to be obsessing or PMS. But that doesn't mean you can't be pregnant. You've been having unprotected sex so of COURSE you can be pregnant. And if you aren't pregnant this month, you will probably be pregnant next month or the month after. While I don't know if you are stupid or not, you ARE taking stupid chances. If you are allergic to latex, there are numerous OTHER options for birth control. So USE THEM. If you think you are mature enough to be having sex, you are also mature enough to get yourself to Planned Parenthood and talk to a professional about the best contraception method for YOU.

I sympathize with you. I used to get cramps so bad that I would vomit or pass out from the pain. I would advise that you talk to your doctor asap. It could be nothing but at the same time the doctor may be able to help you cope with the pain. I had to take prescription medication until I was in my 20's.
If there is a chance that you may be pregnant I would get to an ER right now. If not it can wait until morning or if it is really bad go to the ER they can at least ease your pain.
Good Luck.
In the meantime try a hot water bottle or other source of heat on your abdomen and lower back. That always helped me. As well as chocolate and coca cola. (Weird but true. My husband still buys it for me every month!)

Couple of choices here. You can take up to 800mg of Ibuprofen (Motrin) in a 12 hour period. You can also opt to take Naproxen Sodium, aka Naprosen or Aleve, normally you take two to start and then 1 tablet every 6 hours afterwards. You can also use a heating pad directly over the lower abdomen, or soak in a real hot bath. The heat tends to calm the cramping muscle and calm it down. Curl up into a chin to knees position, hugging a firm rolled towel or pillow to the belly. Any of these things can help, an a mix wouldn't hurt help relief along.

The day before my period I have small intervals of cramping, but when my period actually comes I'm in bed all day. The first day for me is always the worst, but you just have to ride it out hun. I use an herbal heating pad that my aunt bought me, I loveee it. I would suggest that you take some type of aspirin to relieve the pain, and drink some hot tea (with lemon if possible). But if the pain persists please get to a doctor. Take care.

I haven't heard of any doctor prescribing Vicodin for cramps. I feel as though many Dr's don't sympathize with the pain we experience. Heating pads are awesome. Ibuprofen 800 mg or Aleve help. But talk to your Dr if it persists.

If this isn't usual for you, go to the doctor! It could be normal but it could also be something serious like endometriosis. Pain so bad you cry is usually not normal, so you really should get it checked out. It also might be something totally unrelated to your period, like appendicitis, which can kill you if you don't get treatment quickly... If the pain starts to feel like it's coming from one particular spot on one side it is almost certainly appendicitis and you should go to the hospital immediately.

Try midol or pamprin for swelling and bloating. Exercise helps with the cramps. Also try a warm heating pad.

Sometimes you can get bowel problems, for example, diarrhea because of the extra fluid the uterus pulls in just prior to starting your period. You may need to see your MD to get some medication, or to see what the problem is. Hope you start feeling better.
