i injured my ankle (just under my achilles) about a year ago. it still hurts.....I went to the Docter to get x-rays, and they came back negative...did I just sprain it really bad?why would it still hurt?...the doctor told me the ankle has poor circulation...whats going on???

Some arthritis may have set in. It's very painful, but continue to explain to your doctor about this until he gets the message that something is wrong.

It seems once you sprain your ankle, you have problems with it forever. I had trouble with mine while growing up and so do my daughters and they are only 12! When they play basketball, they use ankle braces from the sports store and they seem to help a lot. You could try using one through out the day and see if it helps. It takes a long time for tendons to heal so be careful not to re injure it. Hope this helps.

may be u saught medical advice late....may be the bones healed in wrong way.....please visit a senior orthopedician
