Global warming?!? Sorry, but boring! Unless you can take a giant ice block and melt it with a hair dryer to show the effects.
What are you interested in? If it's science, go that route. If it's animals, go that route. I suggested before that you choose something that would include experiments. You know that the teacher will make you stand up and give at least a 5 minute talk about your topic. Nothing would be cooler to the other students if you did an experiment, and it worked-so practice first. YOU need to find something that you are interested in and go with that. If you DON'T then you will HATE writing the paper, won't put as much into it, and will get a bad grade. Choose something that you like, and go with it. Just make it informational and fun!

how about writing a paper on Mount Weather. This is an underground place, where buildings, cafeteria, hospitals, streets, sidewalks, private apts and dormitories, a water purification system, a small lake fed by fresh water of underground origin.
It has a transit system. A building where congress can meet, the president can preside over government, all underground. It is to be used in the event, America is ever under attack from another country and we are hit by a nuclear bomb. Almost no one ever reports on this. The entrance to this is above ground and the appalachian trail passes close to it. If you are a hiker and get close to it your sketch pad and cameria will be taken from you and not returned until you are some ways away from the trail.
This is like the underground place for the government in WVa at White Sulphur Springs, but that one was found out and is no longer used. Some of the underground buildings are three stories high. this top secret government installation is located near bluemont VA
Fema Spokesman Bob Blair told Time Magazine, that he could tell Time about Mount Weather, but he would have to kill them afterward. This is a joke of course, but so far no pictures have gotten out. Good Luck

Maybe do a research paper on some of the interesting ways we have gotten some of our words, like radar (from RAdio Detecting And Ranging), or quisling ( traitor) - look up what the man whose name gave us this word actually did.

a particular e book/action picture you like and clarify issues like symbolism. possibly some thing you have skimmed over for the period of the course, take an in-intensity diagnosis of it. some thing so uncomplicated as explaining a characteristic like "honor" or "distinctive characteristic" and explaining a connection it has with society or why the absence of those issues could have undesirable consequences. all of it fairly relies upon on the class which you're taking, yet all in all via fact your professor reported something, take great factor approximately it and do a topic rely you're somewhat conscious of in my opinion.
