i need a product that is economical and will not stain bath tubs or skin as i'll be selling my soaps. i've heard you can use wilton icing colourings. or powdered kids school paints.

Don't EVER use the paste cake coloring! Have you ever gotten any on your skin? You'll be tattooed for days.If you are going to do this as a business, you must use the proper products. In craft stores there is a coloring for soaps. I would imagine that is shouldn't color the tub or skin, because it's for soaps.

i make homemade soap too, and somtimes i add,believe it or not a pakage of jello powder to color it lightly and also add some aroma of the flavor u use
