e.g I yawned while sitting on the couch in the living room and right after that my dad yawned and he was in the shower?! coincidence i think not. this yawn stuff happen all the time. any explinations?

There are indications that the yawn evolved among primates as a signal to the troop that it is time to retire into the trees to sleep. We, being primates, have a bit of that left in our DNA.
