I haven't had an issue with it. It matters what you are comfortable with and what you mean by culture. Ethnic culture? Religious Culture? Nationality Culture? Even the Military is considered a culture and people have difficulty when leaving it even after 4 years.
and, no matter what anyone says, you can always "go home".

Here in the USA, we are a nation of immigrants and over the generations have assimilated to be Americans.
Unfortunatly the great melting pot of the USA is being Balkinized into a tossed salad of hyphenated Americans.
Recent immigrants are not really encouraged to learn English.
Illegal immigrants are enabled to live here illegally, living in their own little ghettos and barrios.
It is better to assimilate than to ghettoize your family and close yourselves off from the opportunity that is the USA

What's wrong is for someone to move into another culture and expect everyone in it to change to accommodate the new person. People need to respect the culture that they move into. Love it or leave it.

well culture is someone that we all have..some of us are pround of it and some of us don't speak of it.your culture helps make you,well you.be pround of it.everybody has one...show yours off.
