If you look at the way life works, we don't choose to live. We are born with a survival instinct that gives us an innate desire to live. And the pleasure of sex is what baits most people into reproducing, usually by accident. If life is the product of intelligent design, it seems to me that the designer has made life in a way that forces us into it, traps us in it and coaxes us into producing more life. I never really thought about it that way before. Have you?

Our own intelligence & faculties are limited. We are a part of the evolutionary process & there is no valid reason to think we are the most superior 'creation' or something. There may have been and will be much more superior races. As such, the 'intelligence' of the design or laws governing us may very well be beyond our comprehension. However, that doesn't invalidate the law or make us feel 'trapped' or under control. It's just that we are yet to learn the modalities and operation of the law.

I believe that we chose life before we were born. I didn't procreate by accident. My children were both planned and anticipated and received with much joy. In fact, were I in better health, I would have more. The survival instinct tells us that life is precious. It is fleeting and too soon over.

What a depressing thought! I'm happy to be alive. Every morning I choose to wake up, choose to be my children's mommy and my husband's sweetheart. Life is more than biology!

I believe that we choose the way we want to live. We can do whatever our genes, chromosomes and instincts say, or we can choose to do differently. We can let our "flesh" run wild, or we can try to exercise some sort of control. We can follow that fun urge to play XBox tonight, or we can follow that sensible urge to study for tomorrow's midterm. If life is the product of intelligent design, it seems to me that the designer wants us to make intelligent choices.

I think there is a point in ones own life that they do feel trapped into this existence. I think it is natural to ponder the reality of life. As long as we realize that yeah, it did choose us but once we are here- its all fair game. We choose it from the moment we gain control of our thoughts and realize its either our life to live or ours to waist.
Don't let life trap you- get out of that mindset. You can choose right now to make it yours. Own it!

Frankly, I think we all volunteered for this ride and most of us just forgot we did because we weren't yet born into this physical world when we made the commitment.
