spydawn downloaded on my comp.without my doing it,it just showed up,norton wont pick it up as a virus but it got popups like crazy wanting me to download and buy virus and spyware stuff,norton wont detect it as a virus,i removed it and it came back.my question is if i restored my comp, back 3-4 days will it be gone or is it still going to be there,i just got this yesterday,please help

you've been hijacked my friend..... it's kinda like blackmail, digital style. try going to the 'symantec' website for specific removal instructions: these junk items are hard to get rid of: the best thing is prevention, so study up on first line defenses. many freeware items avail. to do this. go to 'major geeks' or 'snapfiles' and look around the security topics.

Some viruses and spyware are programed to stay in your computer after system restore, just like saved files are.Are you keeping Norton regularly updated? (at least once a week) Go to the Norton website. they have an online scanning program that may help. If not, you'll have to get a computer technician to remove it. Then get Spybot.

depends on when the adware got in the computer....try downloading Adaware ore something like that
