why do you and other people feel diffrent around your family than your friends?

how come you dont talk much with your family, but u burst out laughing and talking with your friends?

Your family..... they will be your family forever........ unless they are an in-law. Friends are only friends in relative terms. They might be your friend today but could quickly become your enemy tomorrow. Family could come up with ways to comfort you... I mean they were there when you were born! Friends won't be there everyday and don't completely know about you. Also you might do things around your family you won't do around your friends and vice-versa.

ummmm, good question, by the way....i think that with your family, you don't tell them everything, so maybe it's just that ur afraid of saying something that u dont want them to hear(or that they wouldnt want 2 hear)....with ur friends, they kno lots about u(if they're good ones), so u can freely talk about things with them that u wouldnt want ur parents to kno about, maybe u dont have a good relationship with ur family...maybe u get in trouble for doing something that u think is right, but they think is wrong.....thats an excellent question...even many theropists dont know the exact answer.....hope this helps!

Usually family knows you to a certain extent (sadly).

Friends know all the good stuff, juicy gossip, ect.

Your friend know you. Theyve seen you at your good and your bad. Your family sees you only one way. As the little boy or girl they all know.

I personally have a less than wonderful relationship with my parents. I chose my friends, so we just tend to get along really well.

family is a border.... friends are out of that border.... ur family u know your whole life, friends are rather new.... its more of a structure feeling when it comes to that... meaning family is like a stricness... -
