Honestly, It hurts a bit. I got mine done two weekends ago and it hurt. It hurts because it goes through a soft bone in your ear. The pain is tolerable though. So don't be nervous or hesitant about getting it.

It does not hurt at all. I got that done when I was 14 and I am 21 now and I still have it. You have to take care of it because it can get infected fast... I know cause the person I went with ear got infected. So enjoy and be safe :)

I did it myself. It hurt like hell. It probably hurts less if you get it done professionally because they get the needle in and out faster.
But compared to earlobe piercings (I did both myself so the comparison works!), it's about twenty times as painful. It's also more of a deep pain, not the sharp little pinch like you get from an earlobe piercing.

I have 2 cartilage piercings and they didn't hurt me any more than my lobe piercings. Neither place hurt for me...I'm thinking about getting my inside cartilage pierced now..but that's going to hurt...:( anyway...ya, it didn't hurt for me but I know people who have said that it hurt when they got it pierced.
I have a really low pain tolerance, and it didn't hurt for me.

itss not too bad. i was kinda scared when i got mine done but it hardlly hurt at all, but iguess it depends on how high your pain tolerance is becausse i know someone who thought it was the worst thing ever, soo

The piercing part isn't the bad part, it's the long healing time that kills.

you mean ur cartliage? lol its not bad at all, its just a little worse than getting the bottlem part done. Its worth it, dont worry.

Take your bottom lip and pull it up over your head. Then you should get the idea of how much it hurts.
