It's a once-a-quarter event for the guys in my group - six of us. The budget is ~ $500. Last quarter, one of us organized a trip to a comedy club, the quarter prior - another guy took us to filming of Ultimate Fighting match. NBA game has also been considred. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

I don't know where you live, but in our area the have F1 Race factory ... it's indoor cart racing .. but high powered carts ... 45mph !!
It was a BLAST when we did this for work.

Gotta go with Valley's answer: Indoor Kart Racing. I rented out one of these places for 3 hours for 50 of my customers, catered in sandwiches, chips and brought in coolers of beer. The testosterone was flying. EVERYONE said it was the best event they had ever attended. (It was probably the most economical way to take care of 50 customers too.)

Go on a walking trek in the great outdoors, camp the night, reminisce around a camp fire with a few ales.
