Tomorrow, in English class (I'm a Freshman), we have to spend 2 minutes talking about what we learned about government, loosely tied to the book by George Orwell, Animal Farm. I'm thinking about talking about how I fully grasped the concept of communism, but I'm afraid I'll screw up and say something wrong. Help, any ideas?

A little curious that you are reading that for government.
The idea in the book, that the animals take over the farm, is to show that commoners are too ignorant to establish a lasting government of equality. It's a conservative book on communism.
Good Luck with that.

Why don't you look at an excellent synopsis of "Animal Farm" at wikipedia.org. I tried to get you an address but the link did not yield the article I found which happens to be a google cached page.

My search string was "Animal Farm" synopsis

Go the Fascism angle and use the Bush Administration as your backdrop---you'll do fine.
