Affirmative action was enacted to give African-Americans (and other minorities) a "level playing field". It thought to be a temporary fix. I can understand your frustration about affirmative action and how it seems to help African-Americans more so then any other minority. That was by design. Affirmative action was to help offset the fact that African-Americans were not included equally in the founding of America, even though my ancestors worked just as hard (and in some areas even harder) than the European Americans in the country but were not paid wages and entitled to own land. Even after slavery, African-Americans were not paid fair wages.
Numerically, the greatest number of beneficiaries of affirmative action have been white women. That's not only because there are more white women, it's because white women have, because of class reasons, more likely been in a position to walk through the door of opportunity afforded by affirmative action, and take advantage of the opportunity once the door has been open. White women have been the principle beneficiaries of affirmative action. It is not only a black issue. The political spin that opponents put on it is to try to make it a black issue because they recognize that works for them as a wedge issue.
When discrimination ends, when race is of no more social and economic significance than whether you're a Protestant or a Presbyterian, then there will be no need for affirmative action and it should go away.

Not completely get rid of it, but reform it some how. Have it be based on class more so then race. A major overhaul of it needs to be done towards college admissions, however. A college will pick someone who is black over someone who is white with the same credentials just because he is a minority. That is a major problem in this country.

Hell yeah end affirmative action! That's biggest load of crap I've ever seen. I have absolutely nothing against black people and I think they should have just as much right to a job as the next person. All affirmative action does is to take a part of the hardships that they went through and turn it on whit people. As far as I'm concerned, if you are better for the job then you deserve it!

I agree. I have nothing against blacks, but "affirmative action" is really the same as "reversed racism" - racism against the whites. And that's just wrong. I think that everyone has milked slavery way too far. It's over now, blacks have been compensated, now can we not start living normally again like we used to??

First, affirmative action did not only benefit Blacks.
Secondly, it is on its way out, as all schools and jobs admit or hire everyone regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, handicap, age, etc. etc. etc.
Third, most minority people no longer believe that it is necessary any longer

I think the majority of the people will agree with you but there are going to be a few Zionist that will disagree and call you every thing bad they can think of, and since the Zionist own America and control it the people will sit on their azzes and complain but do nothing about it, there are organizations you can support if you are serious and but if you do of course you will be called Nazi , K,K,K, or a number of other names, so decide what is important to you , either being P,C, or regaining our country
