This is a very tough market right now, I've been in the mortgage business for the past 5 years. I'm finally at a comfortable point enjoying making some money. You need to be dedicated to many long hours, it's not a 8 to 5 job. Many weekends and evenings. You have to be persistent in obtaining referrals and not afraid of rejection.
