Was wondering if you cook rice or oysters with ocean water. Would it be to salty?

You could but it is not recomended .You would need to boil the water to kill impurities first .Then add the rice or oysters .I dont think the salt would be a problem .

If you like very salty food, yes. One thing to remember about cooking with salt is that many people don't use it. You can always add salt to food if you prefer it saltier, you can never remove it.

u would have to boile the water to seperate the salt out first i think
