I seem to have lost track of Dominic Hasek. Anyone know why he's not playing lately?

hasek has tendintitis in his right hand. if he had to play, he would. but this gives detroit the excuse that they have been waiting for to sit him like they said they would do at the start of the season. now that osgood is back, hasek can take a week off and come back fresh. we will see hasek sitting quite a bit more down the stretch getting him ready for the playoffs.

Hey even God took a rest after the 7th day give the guy a break. Truth be told it's a bit of tendonitis in the wrist, so the say. Call it whatever you want, in the last game he played in, a player fell on his hand so it's sore. In a do or die situation he would be between the pipes but with Detroit's abundance of decent goaltenders it is wise to rest the guy. He will be fine; and I say to those who put evil on him saying he will pull his groin before the playoffs, may you recieve ten fold the pain on a daily basis that you wish upon him. A healthy dose of God Smacks for the haters!

When I lived in Connecticut as a kid, the whole town was really into hockey. The high school had an indoor rink, the town also had a indoor rink, numerous ponds, and pro-shops in many people's garages. In this area of PA, we have no ice rinks, and hockey is not shown on television. Bummer.

no, but Dom is injured. I think, it's a hammy... but not sure. Detroit is like the Yankees of hockey... always there, but since Scotty retired, they won't go anywhere... sorry!!!
