I took the January SATs last month and got an 1820. I am applying to a highschool (not college!) and am currently a sophomore.

This is a pretty elite school; their average SAT score from 2005 was a 1311 on the old SAT. I am aware that I'm under that percentile.. what do you think my chances are of getting in? Thanks in advance.

1820 out of 2400 is approximately 76%, while 1300 out of 1600 is about 81%. Since 1300 was the average, lower scoring students got in; I would say you still have a chance; but if you think you can do better, you can always retake it. Letters of recommendation and essays are important, too.
