Dwyane Wade is good. But is one of the best in the NBA right now?? We've seen him get away with carrying and traveling a lot. I mean other superstars get away with it too but Wade does it like every other trip down the floor on offense and he doesn't get called for it. How bout getting the referees calls and getting a boatload of free throw attempts? I mean he earnestly takes it to the basket but they call a foul and award him with free throws for being touched and like when defenders reach ( which guys like Duncan, Kobe, Brand, Allen and Rip usually don't get awarded for). So Is Wade the league's darling or is he a legit superstar?

Dwyane Wade gets the superstar treatment, certainly, and definitely is one of the best in the NBA. However, I wouldn't say he is the best in the NBA, and I agree he does get an absurd amount of calls. Throwing your body into another player every time down the floor does not merit a foul.
He also is beginning to lose that poster child look after his comments about Dirk in the NBA Finals of last year. Mark Cuban had a huge fit about that on his blog.

It should be Lebron but these Wade lovers are scaring me. All you people who are saying "If you take Wade off the team they'd be worse than the Cavs without James and the Lakers without Kobe". That's true and all but look at Jordan, he was the best player in the NBA for years and had a lot better stats (including one year scoring 37 ppg) than Wade right now and he had to wait about 5 or 6 years to win MVP. Kobe scored 35 a game a few years back but lost to Nash because the Lakers record wasn't great. Wade's definitely gonna win at least one in the future, but this is the King's time! 1) Lebron 2) Kobe 3) Wade

its funny how everyone bitches about wade getting special treatment but everyone seems to forget about how Jordan got special treatment . When Jordan played if you got within 6 inches of him that was a foul . Oh no let it be wade that actually comes into contact with someone and thats a foul. His the best player in the NBA just face it. His up there with Kobe's level. The Heat is Wade's team and has always been Wade's team even Shaq said its his team. No one can finish like him and he has no flaws in his game. If he did have flaws he would have not won a championship so early in his career so please dont hate on him.

Wade is the best player in the NBA. Refs don't give players anything you have to earn it before calls go your way, Wade's been earning his calls since his days at Marquette, I have watched and been a fan of Wade since his days at Marquette and as probably the biggest Wade fan in Florida he is the best not just for what he does on the court but for what he does off of it too. He's a humble good guy doesnt claim to be the King (no disrespect Lebron your awesome too), hes not boring to watch and stays out of Colorado Hotels(Kobe), With so many similarities and the fact he grew up watching MJ, Wade is on pace to be the "AIR" to the throne.

Wade has a lot of talent!! Does he get away with alot?? HELL YEAH! too much if you ask me! But you can't blame wade for that no matter how many times he does go to the line. the blame falls on the league and the reffs who are desperately trying to find a new poster child. Wade is one of the best players in the NBA today but that's as far as i will go with it.

Of course he's good, he's in the top 5 players in the league no matter what anyone says. All you have to do is look at his efficiency rating to see he is in the top 2. He may get luck here and there but you have to be a superstar to get that.

He's one of the best...perhaps he does get special treatment, but he is currently in the top 5 in points per game and steals, and is "the" Miami Heat. Without Wade, the Heat would be awful.

huh........... Dwyane Wade averages 28.8 PPG at the all star break........ Kobe Bryant another star, is averaging 28.7 PPG......Wade averages 9PPG for FTs made ( FTs made divide by number of games) Kobe averages 7.9 almost 8 FTs made per game........ a difference of one FT made, not likes its a million.......... He might not be the best in the NBA, but hes one of the best players in the NBA.

listen wade isin't as good as we think he is, the refs give him close to 24 free throws a game. heck if i could od that i'd average 30 a game too he sucks
