Some are amazingly intelligent people and many have endured enormous hardships - starvation from collectivization of the fields, disappearing relatives, over 20 MILLION dead in WWII. It's too bad if they have to go back to communism and totalitarianism. If they could become truly democratic, market oriented and deal better with the Russian mob - the country has enormous potential.

I don't want to make any stereotypes or generalizations about Russian people, but the school I go to has a lot of Russian people because it is in a predominantly Russian Jew area, so from what I see, Russian people are nice people overall, but the younger Russian crowd can get a little rowdy...they smoke, drink a lot, and party like hell, but as I said before, this doesn't represent all Russians.

I think they are great and I am one of them :) Note: most people who speak Russian in US are not Russian, but rather migrants from other republics of the former Soviet Union.

NO ofense but when i think of russians, i think of very COLD people. I have read so many articles expressing there coldness. I have also looked in history and there not the very best ppl out there. SEE i might be "stero typing" but thats what come to my mind although i know there migth be a lot of sweet russioans out there. O did i tell u, i also think of them as good looking ;)

All the russians I've met have gigantic noses and their nice.

Don't care for them. The one's I have encountered have been vulgar, nasty, cynical people who seem to feel that they have a right to treat the rest of the world like crap. Unwarranted arrogance. Overly aggressive. The only reason they even bother coming to the U.S. is to make a buck. Most of them seem to hate Americans. Really fun listening to anti-semitic, black, mexican tirades. Oh yeah, and enough about WW2. They act like victims when they were the first ones to go in with Hitler to ream Poland. Please.....

most americans find them rude and snotty most of them are alcoholics. they should have stayed in russia inter bred swine germany was right sub humans the whole bunch but the girls are cute. go home soon russia wants you back you left the light on.ps i think there are many in new york city/
