That's right! My 23rd Birthday is next month and I want to have a hotel party. Last time we ventured into a Hotel Party we almost got kicked out. It was at the Days Inn and we were trapped between 2 families (we weren't even that loud!). Question, does Anyone know any Hotels in San Diego preferably El Cajon or La Mesa that allows Hotel Parties? My #1 concern is people drinking and driving and if we have a hotel party people can sleep there and not drive.
I'm looking to spend no more than $200 on a room/suite.
I've called the Holiday Inn & Quality Inn and they both said no before I could even explain my situation.

Dude, why not just get some rooms at the travelodge in San Y and do you're partying in TJ or Rosarito??? Papas'n'Beer would be kickin!!!

go on a hike, have a picnic lunch, play i spy, example, i see something blue, and your friends guess what it is, the first one right is it. scavenger hunt, find; a travel brochure, a hotel business card, something red, soap, a comb, a pencil, something green. bring nail polish, make up and hair accessories, and draw numbers who gets to make who up as a rock star. put numbers 1-8 and each picks a number to be then put the numbers back and everyone picks a number for who will do them up. lip sinc to music as a grand finale! rent a movie,"sisters of the traveling pants is a good one". or maby a scary one! or you pick one out, and bring popcorn and movie food (hot-dogs, nachos,candy) for the movie. or order a pizza for the movie. swim and have a relay race, who can swim the fastest back stroke. bring a beach ball and play volley ball, 4 on each team. or get in a large circle and hit the ball all over the place! this should pretty much use your whole time there, have fun! and happy birthday to you!

Most hotels do not want parties as they worry about other customers wanting it quiet to sleep. You might consider camping (there's a beach campground at Carlsbad)....or renting a home for the night. Check out http://www.vrbo.com for vacation rentals.
