Okay, so I'm watching this show called Ugly Betty, and I have never seen it before, but the one character mentions a girl he stood up in college named Julie Dwyer. That's the same name as the chick that died in a pool in the Kevin Smith movies. I looked up the name and also found a song by a band named Willis named Julie Dwyer about someone drowning. Is this all a coincidence? I looked at the credits for Ugly Betty and the only name that coincides with Kevin Smith is Salma Hayek (she's a director), but she was only in Dogma and didn't have anything to do with the making of the films. Any ideas?

Well I can find nothing online which explains any deliberate connection between all these people. This just sounds like several people liked the name and it didnt have anyone's face already sssociated with it.
The thing about them all drowning is kinda creepy though
