Naruto because he's strong and has the rasengan and fox.
Chouji because he can crush the puppets.
Kiba because hes a dog.
Definitely Sasuke because he has the Sharingan and hes cool that way.
Gaara because his sand powers can overpower the power of the mind.
Neji because Dosu is a weakling.

Naruto vs. Chouji - Naruto wins.
Kiba vs. Sasuke - Sasuke wins.
Gaara vs. Neji - Gaara wins.

Free for all(Gaara vs. Sasuke vs. Naruto) It would end up being a stalemate.

1 Gotta say... It's probably Itachi just for the sake of the show. Jiraiya had to die at some point to make room for Yamamoto. They would have made it close, though. 2 That's already been decided - Naruto. And he didn't even use the Demon Fox's Cloak. No contest with the Kyuubi involved. 3 Interesting one... Kabuto was beating Tsunade by exploiting her hemophobia (fear of blood) until Naruto used his first Rasengan to beat Kabuto. In a second fight, with Tsunade already over her weakness, it would be hard to predict. I wanna say Kabuto because he never fails to impress and we still haven't seen his full potential yet. But on the other hand, with Tsunade being one of the Legendary Sannin, I'm led to believe that she has more tricks up her sleeve than we've seen so far. Still, I would go with Kabuto. 4 Gai seems the obvious answer. You think yeah he's strong enough to break right through Yamamoto's Wood-Element defenses, and totally too fast for the attacks. This may be true, but Yamamoto shares in the power of the Second. That's got to count for something. I'd say if Gai were to release all of the Gates, he would definitely overpower Yamamoto, but take himself out too. Hard to say, but Gai just seems more durable.

Kankuro b/c his puppet will slash choji in half not giving choji enough time to expand

Kiba b/c kiba and akamaru would there attack when their spin together (forgot what it was called) and that could probably break through the sound

Shino b/c no matter what shino will manage to get one of his female bugs on sasuke and then all the male bugs will go on sasuke and go inside of him

Gaara b/c even though shikamaru can hold him with his shadow possession jutsu gaara will manage to use his sand

Neji b/c he gots that move that seal all the chakara points

naruto vs. kankuro nartuo would have had a tough time just trying to pass kankuros puppet but he manages and uses rasengan to destroy kankuro's puppet and then goes for kankurp

kiba vs. shino shino will win b/c he manages to get bugs on akamaru and shino knows how kiba reacts to that so...he gets the bugs to attack akamaru then kiba quits cause he doesnt want akamaru to get heart anymore since he made a promise to him

gaara vs. neji of course gaara 's going to win gaara doesn't need close range combat like neji does all gara has to do is to do the same thing he did to lee during the exam preliminaries.

naruto wins b/c once shino tried to get his bugs inside of nruto the bugs immedeitaly died b/c of then kyuub's chakara soo... naruto gets all serious and then wins shout " I'M GOING TO BE THE NEXT HOKAGE"

final round

after 3 days naruto and gaara come to fight in the final round...they have a very serious fight and they have destroyed most ofthe stadium...then naruto does his most ultimate attack combineing his wind elimante and the rasengan (ifyou havent heard of this attack u most read the manga go to mangavolume.com)
and with that naruto hits gaara and then gaara goes spinning in the air, hits the wall and then falls to the ground looking severly hurt...the audience is silent and then an uproar of cheering comes up...naruto has a surprised look on his then all of a sudden a huge smile comes on his face and he starts saying
" I did I did it I really did it 'laughs to himself' I DID IT1 BELIEVE IT I DID!"

and the winnerof the tournament was Naruto Uzamaki

oh and if you were wondering why i dint put sasuke as one of the winners is b/c in this sasuke is having some issues

Round 1
Naruto vs Lee: Naruto because he could then Control the Kyuubi much better.
Chouji vs Kankuro: This is basically strenght vs wit and kankuro takes this one even though Shouji could go 3 pills on his butt. Kankuro has 2 puppets now and could use them effectively
Kiba vs Zaku: I have to give this one to Kiba. He was more impressive to me
Sasuke vs Shino: Sasuke has extreme speed, chidori, Curse seal Lvl 2, taijutsu and the sharingan. Shino would be dead before his bugs even become a factor.
Gaara vs Shikamaru: Gaara would win before Shika could even think up of a plan.
Neji vs Dosu: Oh this one is obvious. Neji easily.
Round 2
Naruto vs Kankuro: Even with puppets, Naruto takes this one because of once again the Kyuubi.
Kiba vs Sasuke: I say Kiba deserves to win if he could last more than 3 minutes. Sasuke wins.
Gaara vs Neji: Not sure if Neji could even touch Gaara. Gaara wins.
Round 3
Gaara vs Sasuke vs Naruto: Gaara buries both of them in sand. Gaara is good in multi people fight since his attacks could hit multiple targets.
Gaara wins.

hm, it really depends when this tournament happens. if this was at the chuunin exams, i think the winners would be rock lee, kankuro, kiba, sasuke, gaara, and neji. if this was after the time skip, it would...pretty much stay the same, except naruto would probably beat lee, and since zaku and dosu are dead...well....

in the end, gaara would win because he's got the shukaku (forget the fact that it was extracted from him) and he would kill everyone and be all freaky and bloodthirsty
