It depends on how you school treats minuses and pluses. Some schools give extra for pluses (like 3.5 for a B+) and penalize you for a minus (like 2.75 for a B-). If you school ignores the pluses and minuses, you have a 3.0 (unless any of your classes were honors or advanced placement, in which case you add one point for the grade, i.e. a B which is normally worth 3.0 becomes a 4.0).

what is your full grade?
how many b's and a's you have?
use this to change the letter (of your grade) and turn it to the number it represents
a=4
b=3
c=2
d=1
e=0
get the average ("mean"..in mean, median, mode,and range)
add ALL of your grades (with the corresponding number above)
then divide by how many subjects you have.
for example,
i have 9 subjects and here are my grades:
6 a's , 2 b's and 1 d's
4+4+4+4+4+4+3+3+1=31
31/9=3.4444444...
i hope that explains everything!

Without your other two or three grades, you can't know for sure. But five B's would get you a 3.0 GPA.
