My computer's hard drive had to be replaced as it was damaged and I lost all my data. I want to copy all the songs stored on my iPod back onto the computer in iTunes. My main concern is that I may lose all of my songs stored on my iPod in doing this. Please help me out!

i don't know wither i am wright but if you plug your ipod into your computer and then open up my computer there should be a folder named eg. ipod, removable disk drive or drive e: . open up the folder and drag the tracks from your ipod folder to my music or your desktop. It us ally doesn't delete the ones on the ipod because they are stored in the memory of the ipod aswell.

I know there's hardware sold at electronics stores for it, and i think that's the only way.

there is a program called senuti that will do it, itunes backwards. But it only works on mac's.
